About	Rick passed following an illness of several years. He was born in 1949 and grew up on the family farm in Wilton, California where attended Dillard Elementary School. At the Elk Grove HS he was Sophomore Class President and graduated in 1967. He then attended California State University, Sacramento, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism in 1971, then spent several years working in magazine production and advertising. His family said his enthusiasm for life encompassed many things, including the Raiders, NASA and astrophysics, the Beatles, and Bob Dylan. Mr. York is survived by his daughter, Lisa York of Fair Oaks; parents Lucille Postnikoff and Ivan York both of Sacramento; sisters Kathy Rose and DeDe Berry and brother Tim Postnikoff all of Wilton; brother Ivan York of Huddersfield, England; and many nieces, nephews, and friends in California, England, and Ireland.
