About	Robert Copeland Published: Thursday, January 29, 2009 3:55 PM PST Robert Lee Copeland, a former resident of the Elk Grove area, died Jan. 20, 2009 at the age of 42. He was born Jan. 10, 1967 in Sacramento, and grew up in this area, attending Elk Grove schools and graduating from Elk Grove High School in 1985. While in school he played in the band and was also a member of the Sheldon 4-H Club. Both his parents taught in the district. Prior to moving to his current home in Stockton, he worked as a painter in northern California. Mr. Copeland is survived by his parents, Cecil and LaQuetta Copeland of Wilton; children Joshua, Robert Jr., Isaiah and Juanita of Indiana; and sister Carol L. Copeland of Stockton. Memorial services were held Jan. 25. The family asks that any remembrances be sent to his place of worship, Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church, 1752 So. B St., Stockton, CA 95206.
