About	Dennis Fischer a long-time resident of Franklin, California. Passed away in Elk Grove, California On February 3, 2024 after a long illness following a stroke in 2015. Dennis was born January 19, 1950 in, Streeter, North Dakota. He was preceded in death by his parents Gilbert and Helen Fischer. Graduated from Elk Grove High School in 1968. Dennis went on to operate a family-owned business. Gils Service in Franklin, CA. Until his retirement In 2011. In his leisure time he enjoyed fishing, playing billiards, and watching baseball and football. He is survived by his wife Janice of 33 years. Stepchildren: Tracy Davis (James), Kristie Russell, Bryan Russell. Along with grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Siblings: Iva Bates, Del Fischer (Eileen) Nephews: Keith Schultz, David, and Marc Fischer and their families. And, numerous cousins. Dennis will be remembered for his kindness, sense of humor, sharing jokes, and one liners. Viewing on February 15, 2024 from 5:00- 7:00 pm at Herberger Family Funeral Home.
