About	Mother of Dan ('62), Jay ('65), Dale ('67) Wilma Rae DeWald, born in Rio Linda, California on February 12th, 1925, passed away peacefully in the morning of Wednesday, October 18th, 2023 at the age of 98. Wilma lived all of her life in Elk Grove, aside from a short time during WWII when she and her husband, Benjamin Ray DeWald, lived in Spokane, Washington. They lived happily in their Elk Grove home on Colton Avenue shortly after returning from Spokane and Wilma continued living there after Ben's death in 2011until she passed. She left behind 3 son's, Danny (wife Stella), Jay (wife Terri), Dale (wife Anna), plus nieces, Jackie DeWald Mason, Janice DuVall, Jodean McDonald, Cathy Yokoyama and Jill Kelso and nephews, Jim and Randy Entrican, Don DeWald, John Van Doren and Chris Van Doren, plus numerous loving grandchildren and great grandchildren (last count at about 40). She will be sorely missed by all. Memorial Sevice will be held November 7th at 2:00pm at East Lawn Mortuary in Elk Grove - 9189 East Stockton Blvd. - for family and close friends.
