Joseph Edward "Joe" Thorpe, 29, of Hilo died in Hospice of Hilo's Pohai Malama Facility. He passed away from liver failure.
He was born in Sacramento, California on January 9th, 1985. He attended James McKee Elementary, Joseph Kerr Middle School and Elk Grove High School. Joe loved fishing, gaming and astronomy. He is survived by parents Mark and Paula and older sister Kim (Thorpe) Ferguson.
