About	Rick grew up in the Florin area and went to EGUSD schools, graduating from Daylor in 1976. His school attendance history is unclear as we can't find him in any EGHS yearbooks. Born to Larry and Betty Ring who proceeded him in death. Rick was a life long Sacramento resident who worked as a lath and plaster contractor for 35 years. He passed away on June 20, 2021 at the age of 62 after a year-long battle with cancer. Loving husband of 44 years to Carol Ring. Beloved father of Mary Hartzenberger (Hughar). Devoted grandfather to Alexander and Eden. Beloved brother of Vicki (EGHS '78) Bellrichard (Steve), David Ring (Marketta), Mark Ring (Deceased), Eric Ring (Deceased) and Melanie. Survived by many uncles, aunts, nephews, cousins, and friends. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. - Information from the Elk Grove Citizen
