On Facebook bandmate Kenny Later shares, "I am sad to share that we lost another great one! My friend Chris Rooney passed away on Saturday (Nov 12) after a short illness. We played as a duo on occasion, and he was one of the most talented guitarist and vocalists that I ever had the pleasure of working with. He will be greatly missed!"
