Alan was born on March 1, 1954 and passed away on Sunday, September 15, 2019. Alan graduated from Elk Grove High School (EGHS) in 1972 and while attending EGHS lettered in varsity baseball. After graduation he worked jobs locally in Elk Grove and then joined the United States Navy and served on the USS Oklahoma City CG-5 as a gunners mate with the rank of Seaman Apprentice. - Information from class list
