About	Norma Dawn Reeves, a longtime resident of Lodi, Ca went home to the Lord on April 24, 2022 at the age of 83 years old. Norma was born April 18, 1929 to John and Gladys Mensch of Florin, CA. She attended the Florin School District and graduated from Elk Grove High School in 1956. She went on to continue her Christian upbringing and attended Sierra College in Southern CA, where she met her husband Dwane Reeves. They were married on August 24, 1963 they moved to Stockton/Lodi in 1971 which enabled them to be closer to family. Mrs. Reeves worked for the Lodi Unified School District for 20 years. In her early years she worked in the cafeteria, then as the librarian, and in later years as an essential part of the office staff. She spent many years involved in Betta Sina Phi, Lockeford, Lodi and Florin Historical Societies, San Joaquin and Stanislaus Cattlewomen's Association, Lodi Women's Club and traveling with the NorCal Rex RV club. She loved to travel, play dominos, and spend time with family. She will forever be cherished by her husband of 58 years, her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, siblings, family, and friends. A celebration of life was held on June 24, 2022 at the Moose Lodge, Acampo, CA. - Information from The Florin Historical Society newsletter
