About	Kevin Foye Smith June 12, 1956 - November 19, 2021 Elk Grove, California - Kevin was born on June 12, 1956 in San Lorenzo CA , the 7th of 9 children born to Stanley Phillip Smith and Hazel Jordan Smith. Kevin attended Elk Grove schools, including Sierra Enterprise School, graduating from Elk Grove High School in 1975. When his brother Michael was in college, Michael had a job driving truck for White's Moving Company in Fresno, CA. Kevin joined Michael at the moving company. Kevin continued in the trucking business for the rest of his life. Kevin was on his way home from a truck delivery in Washington state, when he passed away of natural causes in Medford Oregon. Kevin married DiVi in 1979. Their son Ray was born in 1981, joining stepson Victor. Ray was named after Kevin's paternal grandfather. DiVi and Kevin lived for many years in the family home at the end of Fruitridge Road in the Elk Grove area, prior to selling their home and acreage to Granite Brothers and moving to a home in Wilton. DiVi passed away in 2014. On December 2015, Kevin married Thuy Pham. At the time of his death, Thuy and Kevin lived in the Laguna area of Elk Grove. Kevin was preceded in death by his first wife, DiVi (2014), his father Stanley (2015), his brother Gary (2015), his mother Hazel (2018), and his brother Keith (1955). Kevin is survived by his devoted and loving wife Thuy; stepson Victor Sinhawk (Katherine); his son Ray; Thuy's children: Truc, Thao, and Daniel Pham; his sister Toni; brothers Michael (Kathy Shurtleff), Rocky (Debbie), Christopher (Barbie), Kelly (Diana), and Jeff (Barbara Harry), and his uncle Harry Jordan. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 1st at 9:00 at Sacramento Memorial Lawn, 6100 Stockton Blvd, Sacramento CA 95824. Published by The Sacramento Bee on Nov. 29, 2021.
