Passed due to an expected heart attack.
Bio: After graduation I enlisted in the U.S. Army. On my 20th day was the TET offensive. I wound up a rifleman with the 9th Infantry Division in the Mekong Delta. I was in what they called the Mobile Riverine Force. I was in the movie Apocalyse Now only for real. My base camp was a U.S. Navy ship, the U.S.S Westchester County. It hit a mine and was sunk on the My Tho river Oct. 31 or Nov. 1, 1968. Trick or treat? I was in a different Army than all the stories I have heard. I managed to get shot at by very real bullets and mortars in wholesale lots regularly. The mortars kept getting closer and closer until one finally got me. I searched many tunnels as a tunnel rat. Terrifying. After that my life has been uneventful and maybe even boring. I spent most of my life in construction getting final inspection for FHA VA County and City Inspectors. I have two kids. A boy and girl. I lost contact and don't know about grand kids. I spent ten years in veterans affairs.
