About	August VanSanten December 30, 1936 - December 20, 2020 Sacramento, California - August grew up on a ranch in Elk Grove CA. He graduated from Elk Grove High School in 1954. He served in the US Navy for 3 years and was in the CBs while serving. When he got out of the Navy he came to Sacramento. He was a loving husband to Phyllis for 52 years and father to Steven. He worked as an automobile mechanic at Sutton / Maita Oldsmobile for nearly 40 years. He was preceded in death by his parents Esdert and Theresa and his two brothers Eddie and John.
