About	Alberta Forderer October 2, 1928 - December 21, 2020 Elk Grove, California - Alberta (Patsy) Forderer, 92, passed away peacefully in her home the morning of December 21, 2020 after a courageous battle with cancer. Her long and wonderful life on Earth may be coming to a close, but her life in Paradise is just beginning as she is now joining Leo Forderer, her loving husband of 73 years, in Heaven. Patsy is survived by her 4 children – Barbara (Joe) Levario, David (Cindy) Forderer, Belinda (Terry) Collins, & Bonnie (Tim) Cavanagh. She was a cherished Grandmother of 10, Great-Grandmother to 11, and dear friend to many. Patsy was born in Daly City, CA in 1928 but made the move to Elk Grove, CA as a young girl with her family and graduated from Elk Grove High in 1946. She married Leo on December 14, 1947 and their years together were filled with many fishing trips, camping adventures, and yearly vacations as snowbirds in the Arizona sunshine. In her later years she enjoyed reading books in her backyard surrounded by her hummingbirds, playing bingo with friends at the Senior Center, and her daily walks around the neighborhood where she lived happily for 70 years. She will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts. - Information from the Sacramento Bee
