About	Ty Coupe lived in Galt and was a dairy farmer all his life. At last years 60th reunion he had lost a lot of weigh and I felt something was wrong then. It's a hard loss for me as we knew each other since the 4th grade. - Information from friend and classmate Lewis Conner Tyrus Raymond Coupe, 80, of Galt passed away July 10, 2020 after a short illness. He was born Aug. 20, 1939 to Tom and Harriet Coupe of Elk Grove. On July 7, 1962, Ty married the love of his life, Dolores Coupe. Ty grew up in Elk Grove, where he loved playing baseball and hard work. In the summers when not playing baseball, he hauled hay with a goo friend. He also loved listening to music and playing the piano. Ty attended Sac City Junior College where he studied engineering. He went to work for Kleinfelder soils engineering lab before becoming a partner in Pearson and Coupe Dairy business. After 30+ years in the dairy business, Ty retired where he enjoyed traveling with Dolores and spending time with friends and his family. Ty is survived by his wife of 58 years, Dolores Coupe; sister Bonnie Mullen; three sons and their spouses, Raymond and Sandra Coupe, Eric and Susie Coupe, and David and Amy Coupe; five grandchildren, Kimberly, Tim, Tyler, Jason (April) and Andrew; and great grandchildren, Zoey, Kalani and Carl. Ty will be deeply missed by all who knew him as a big strong man with an incredible sense of humor and deep knowledge of many things.
