About	Carla Christine Rucker died Tuesday, March 21, 2006, of natural causes at her home in Vallecito. She was 55. Born March 2, 1951, in Sacramento, Mrs. Rucker lived in Arnold for 31 years and lived the past year in Vallecito, California. She graduated from Elk Grove High School. She was a caregiver in the healthcare industry for four years, taught at Chalcedon Christian School in Vallecito, and was a homemaker. She was a member of Mountain Christian Fellowship in Murphys, and was a missionary to the Philippines in 1996. She was also an avid artist. She was preceded in death by husband James Rucker in 2002. She is survived by sons Andrew Rucker of Murphys, and Job Rucker of Kailua Kona, Hawaii; daughters Iva Baker of Elk Grove, Emma Ballard of Angels Camp, Beth Baker of Mountain View, and Jessie Rucker of Angels Camp; sisters-in-law Nancy Dee of Kailua Kona, Hawaii, and Jan Edmondson of Murphys; parents Conrad and Betty Baker of Elk Grove; sisters Connie Boyer of Elk Grove and Claudia Camuso of Sacramento; brother Chuck Baker of Elk Grove; and an uncle. A memorial service will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Sierra Bible Church in Murphys. - Calavaras Enterprise
