About Kenneth Jr.?
Wade Parker a life long resident of Elk Grove passed away un-expectantly from a heart attack on March 19, 2020; he was 51 years old.
Wade was born in Sacramento California on April 19, 1968 to Bonnie and Kenneth Dwane Parker. He attended Pleasant Grove Elementary School and Elk Grove High School.
Wade played sports, mainly little league baseball. He always had a love for cars from the time he was a small boy collecting Hot Wheel cars until he was old enough to own a few cherished vehicles including his 1968 Blue Chevelle. Wade grew up working with his Dad in the family business, Parkers Automotive Repair. He was a master mechanic and helped many people over the years keep their cars in good, running condition. You could ask Wade about any problem your car was having, he would know the answer, and be able to fix it for you fast and for a fair price. He was a humble and honest man, which made him always worry about charging too much for a job. Wade continued this trade for over 37 years.
Wade is survived by his three children, who were the light of his life, Tyler, Justine and Dylan Parker, as well as his wife, Debbie. His mother Bonnie Parker, sister Teresa Parker, brother Jeff Parker, and sister Darcel and brother in-law Sal Trapani; mother in-law Loretta Johnson; and so many more relatives, nieces, nephews, cousins and aunts and uncles, in-laws and friends who loved Wade. He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Dwane Parker, grandparents, James and Edith Parker and Bert and Mamie Crabtree, and father in-law Ken Johnson.
Wade will be remembered as a quiet, un-assuming, hard working man. He had a great smile and contagious laugh. He would do anything to help anyone he cared about and always tried to see the best in everyone. He enjoyed getting together with his family to visit and have fun. Wade could always be found with a Pepsi in hand to sip on and enjoyed a good hamburger. Wade especially enjoyed watching Nascar or Sprint Car racing, which was his favorite past time most of his life. Wade loved dogs, and all dogs loved him. He had a special bond with his his dog, Katy, a black Labrador, who went everywhere with him and pretty much decided what the daily schedule was going to be.

Please take time in your life to help others like Wade always did. Wade was an irreplaceable part of our family and friends' lives and he will be greatly missed. Talk about him and tell the fun stories to keep his memory alive forever. Keeping that memory alive would be a great honor to him and our family.
Due to the shelter in place orders, the Parker family held a private service on April 2, 2020 at the Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Elk Grove. After Covid-19 isolation restrictions are lifted, a Celebration of Life will take place, date and time TBD. - Information from the Elk Grove Citizen
