About	Hal Kelly Williams was born in Berry County Missouri on May 17th, 1938 to parents Clarence and Lucille Williams. He passed away at home in Wilton on February 25th, 2020. Hal’s family moved to the Florin area of Sacramento when he was nine years old. He graduated from Elk Grove High School in 1956. He enlisted in the Navy reserve and served until 1963. He worked as a truck driver for United Grocers/Flemming foods, delivering groceries and retired in 1996. He married Joyce Campbell in 1974 and they celebrated their 46th wedding anniversary on February 15th. Hal loved to travel, going on cruises, hunting trips, fishing trips and cattle drives. His favorite place to visit was Alaska. He enjoyed raising birds, gardening and cooking (everyone loved his famous biscuits and gravy). He was a yard duty at Wilton Christian school after his retirement. Hal was preceded in death by daughter Jill Froehlich, brothers, Ival and Stan Williams, sister Sammy Sue Smith and brother in law Jack Campbell. Hal is survived by wife Joyce Williams and children Christopher Williams and wife Jamie, Gary Williams and wife Julia, Brad Williams, Gordon “Jonah” Froehlich-Williams, Kelene Williams, Heidi Arellano and husband David and Kayla Wedan and husband Ryan. Brothers, Sid, Tim and Ron Williams and sister Nancy Johnston and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Services will be held at First Baptist Church Lodi 11am Friday March 6th, 267 N. Mills Ave Lodi. Viewing will be held on Thursday March 5th from 12pm-5pm at Herberger’s Funeral Chapel, 9101 Elk Grove Blvd. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Wilton Christian School Trap shooting team. - Information from the Elk Grove Citizen
