About	Shirley Lee (Dillard) Jackson, born on June 28, 1932 in Sacramento to Walter and Genevieve Dillard of Wilton, California, passed away on August 17, 2018 surrounded by family. She was preceded in death by her parents, daughters Janna and Tracy and sister Jeannie Womack. She is survived by her loving husband John Jackson of 64 years, numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews. Shirley grew up on the family dairy in Wilton, California (at the corner of Dillard and Davis Roads) where she was involved with the normal chores of dairy farming. Including running to the dairy during lunch time, which was across the street from the school to change irrigation water, bailing hay and feeding animals. Shirley attended and graduated from Elk Grove High School. Shirley loved her pets, gardening, traveling around the country in their R.V. with her sister Jeannie and Norman Womack. She especially loved time spent at frequent family dinners and parties. Shirley loved living in Wilton, enjoyed her many friends as a member of the Wilton Fire Department Women's Auxiliary, Wilton Historical Society and the Wilton Women's Bowling Group. Services will be held at the East Lawn Memorial Park, 9189 E. Stockton Blvd, Elk Grove, CA 95624. Viewing will be on August 23, 2018 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, and funeral services will be on August 24, 2018 at 10:00 am. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Sacramento SPCA at 6201 Florin Perkins Road, Sacramento, Ca 95828.
