About	June 4, 1955 July 2, 2018 Resident of Elk Grove, CA Passed away on July 2, 2018 at the age of 63. He was born to Janice and Truman Prater on June 4, 1955 in Yuba City, CA. Bryan was preceded in death by his father, Truman. He is survived by his mother Janice, sister Julie King (Dave), brother Brad Prater, daughter Megan Sanders (Matt), son Cory Prater (Molly), Five grandchildren, Jason, Cameron & Michael Sanders, Isabella & Arianna Prater, Aunt Judy Yorston (Dave) many cousins, nieces and nephews. Bryan had recently retired from the State of CA Legislative Data Center. Bryan served in the Navy and was a member of the American Legion and a dedicated team member of the Elk Grove - Galt CERT team and attended Creekside Church. Bryan was a lifelong motorcycle enthusiast and rode in several motorcycle riding groups. He enjoyed fishing all his life and had the true heart of a fisherman. Services will be held on August 11, 2018 at 11:00 am at East Lawn Elk Grove Memorial Park, 9189 East Stockton Blvd. Reception following the services at Creekside Church 8939 East Stockton Blvd. - Information from the Sacramento Bee
