Mrs. Eleanor Jane (Lynch) Doty, of Elk Grove/Florin, California, born on July 23, 1922 in Wheatland, California, passed away peacefully at age 95 on May 10, 2018 in Sacramento, California. Eleanor was the loving wife of 69 years of the late Harvey R Doty. She is survived by her daughter, Sharon Doty Parsons; and husband, Don Parsons, of Sacramento; son, Edward R Doty and wife, Imelda Doty; and grandchildren, Anthony E. Doty and Andre R. Doty, of Pleasanton. Eleanor had a passion for camping, knitting, quilting, gardening and canning. She loved family, the Pismo/Avila Beach and the San Luis Obispo area. The family would like to give a special thanks to Dr. Scott Wigginton for his many years of care for Eleanor and a heartfelt thank you to her caregivers, Vicki Prieto, Marilyn Soliven and Gerard Hosilla, for their many years of loving care and friendship. Eleanor will be missed by all. The family asks in lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimers Foundation would be appreciated. Memorial services will be private. - Information from the Sacramento Bee
