| About Me | Reconnecting with old friends, family, and colleagues from YEARS past. Hoping to make new friends, and share some of the sights I've seen from around the world. Trying to keep it humorous. Politically: It's not right vs. left, but right vs. wrong! I wouldn't consider myself FAR right... but definitely right of center far enough to listen to the other sides issue, but still politely debate the issues, usually ends with agreeing to disagree. Staying informed and LEARNING the facts (historical and current) seems to be a weak area of the left... nuf sed. I have three passions in my life: My kids, my Country, and my Career. I love ALL three--EXTREMELY lucky to be a part of my childrens lives-though they're all grown and on their own. I'm priveleged to live in THIS (once) great country (hopefully we will recover from this CURRENT administrations GROSS mistakes), and LUCKY enough to be able to visit nearly every continent (over 70 country's so far) and fulfill a dream of doing what I do... Been divorced since 2004. I'm a proud father of three boys--25, 21, and 19. As much as I'd like to break their necks sometimes... They are, and always will be, a part of me where ever their choices take them. I love my country the way our FORE FATHERS intended it... as written in the Declaration of Independence; Bill of Rights; and US Constitution. I love my career... Some call it a job, but I get great satisfaction doing what I do. I treat every layover as a chance to see/experience a new part/culture of the world. Nearly every trip is like a mini-vacation to some corner of the globe- Layovers could be only for just 10-12 hours or a layover can be several days long... We fly both passenger and cargo MD-11's and Cargo 747-400's to major cities ALL over the world. I'm living in Middle-Tennessee. Transplanted here after several years (21+) in the AF and a few years in Florida. I love the lake life and the mountains (Cumberland Plain), lack of traffic jams, and 3 1/2 seasons (winters are short, and when it snows, it only lasts for a few days). Don't get me wrong, I love the snow, but most folks around here don't know how to drive with 1/4' of flurries "threatening" the area. When the snow does arrive, there's no real time to "ENJOY" it... so I'd rather have NONE and avoid the ALL hassles. Two of my sons now live nearby here in Tennessee and one in...(read more) |
