About	Michael A. Cavanagh, age 53, of Glencoe, lost his valiant battle with cancer on Wednesday, March 8. He ''fought the good fight'' and died peacefully at home surrounded by his family. Dear husband of Karla, nee Morgan; devoted father of Grace and Molly; cherished son of Betty, nee Farris, of San Diego and the late Albert; loving brother of Kam (Ben), Deb and Sue; brother-in-law of Jim (Caryl), Tim (Lisa) and Martha (Mark) Morgan; son-in-law of Harold and Bev Morgan; fun loving uncle of Claire, Karl, Kelsey, Sam, B.J., Tarin, Jessyca and Mary. Mike graduated with a degree in engineering from Southern Illinois University and was the owner of American Insulation. Best friend and business partner of Owen Porter. Longtime member of the Chicago Lions Rugby Club. Mike was an avid sports enthusiast and enjoyed skiing, golf, kayaking and ice hockey. Memorial Service pending.
