Too long ago to recall
Class of 1983
I was on my first tour in the Persian Gulf. 1987
After my period/culture shock of being out of country, I ventured out on Liberty in Bahrain.
It being a non-alcohol culture, the only place for a beer, was at the USO (poor quality too- formaldehyde preservative).
When who walks up next to me was an EHS Alumni classmate. Who was stationed on a mine sweeper....
It was THEN, I knew all was alright.....half way around the world.....Best night overseas!
