Mathew J. "Mat" Perea, 18, a resident of Albuquerque, died Monday, October 11, 2004. He is survived by his parents, George and Francie Perea of Albuquerque; his sister, Crystal Perea of Albuquerque; his grandparents, George Perea, Jr. and wife, Dena of Bernalillo; Jane Sandoval and husband, Ernest of Albuquerque; Ben Montano and wife, Margaret of Albuquerque; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Mat was a graduate of Eldorado High School class of 2004, and was currently attending T.V. I. He had a passion for golf. A Rosary will be recited Friday, October 15 2004 at 7:00 p.m. at John XXIII Catholic Community, 4831 Tramway Ridge Dr. NE. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated, Saturday, October 16, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. at John XXIII. Cremation will follow. Family and friends may visit at John XXIII, Friday, October 15, 2004 from 6:00 p.m. until Rosary.
