Enlisted in the Army at 17 and volunteered for Airborne at 19. After separation went to college, joined Special Forces Reserve, went to Rigger school. Re-enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve and made Warrant Officer. Jumped again after 16 years. Retired as a CWO2 in 1987 after tours in Europe, Okinawa and Korea as Adjutant/Admin Officer. Always proud to be a Marine, Airborne and Rigger

SERVED ON USS ORISKANY CVA 34 WENT TO JAPAN SERVED COMMANDER FLEET AIR WING 6 RECEIVED ORDERS FOR VIET NAM SERVED 1 YEAR AS RADIOMAN FOR THE CORE ..COMBAT ACTION ORDERD TO THE USS BENNINGTON CVS 20 THEN ABOARD USS YORKTOWN...HAD A CAR ACCIDENT WHILE TRAVELING FROM EL PASO TEXAS WHERE I WAS MARRIED THERE WAS CAR ACCIDENT THAT KILLED MY BEST FRIEND DAVID CROWDSON CLASS OF 1959..MY WIFE WAS SEVERLY HURT AND I SPENT 1 YEAR IN THE NAVAL HOSPITAL BALBOA SAN DIEGO. WAS DISCHARGED IN 1967 DUE THE INJURIES

Served 10 years in Human/ Resources (Personnel); managed AF substance abuse training and rehab programs; race & human relations training; assisted Inspector General complaint processing/ investigation/resolution.
