| About Me | I joined the El Paso Job Corps Manpower downtown in the Cortez building. I got a certification in welding and worked several constructions jobs for a couple of years. I went to work for Petty Ray Geophysical, a seismograph company in oil exploration for a few years. Petty Ray operated in west Texas and southern New Mexico. I worked out of Marfa, Sanderson, Alpine and the Pecos area and north to Carlsbad and Tor C. I joined the Army in May 1975. I had three tours in Korea and one each in Germany and Italy and did some work in Turkey and Greece while stationed in Italy. I had duty assignments in Ft. Reilly, Kansas; Ft. Carson, Colorado; Ft.
