El MONTE HIGH SCHOOL CLASS REUNION ACTIVITIES
Classmates of the classes of 1965 and 1966 looking forward to our combined reunion on Sunday, October 5, 2025, at the Pomona Valley Mining Co.
This is Hector Ramirez from the class of 1966 and also known as the “Twins Brother.” Yes, I am the younger brother of Becky and Susie Ramirez from the class of 1965.
I have been working on a number of activities for those of you who are traveling from other states and plan to be in Southern California for a few days or a week.
First of all, El Monte High now has a beautiful stadium on our own campus, and the first home football game is scheduled for Friday, October 3, 2025. I thought it would be great if our classes could be there to be part of this long-awaited event.
Secondly, I have scheduled a photo opportunity in front of our beloved Lion Mascot on Monday, October 6, 2025, which will be followed by a tour of our campus starting at 9:00 am. After the tour, I have scheduled a visit to our old
Public Library, which is now a wonderful museum with so many memorabilia of El Monte Past.
Thirdly, after the tour of the museum, we can go out for lunch at Shakey’s or El Sombrero.
