About	Leslie was my best friend in high school. He was killed in a motorcycle accident a few days after school let out in June 1966. We had just completed our junior year. Leslie had just gotten his learners permit and was riding a Honda 150cc motorcycle. He was rounding a curve and hit the front of a Cal-Trans truck in Pocket Canyon. He was transported by ambulance to Palm Drive Hospital in Sebastopol where he died a couple of hours later. He was 17. He is buried in the Sebastopol Cemetary. Leslie and I had many great times together. Jim Orr was a good friend of Leslie's and mine, too. We were like the 3 musketeers. Leslie was a great guy...liked by all.
