| About Me | Phil Moyer has been an established film producer-director-actor in the Arizona film community since 1990, working primarily in commercials, documentaries, and short films. Phil's early Hollywood career included work in production on the TV network shows "Johnny Carson," "Sanford & Son" "Hollywood Squares," & "The Bob Hope Show," among others. Phil has over 30 yrs. experience in the film and TV industry, both behind and in front of the camera. Phil caught the acting bug in the early 1970's when he won a recurring role in a series of educational films produced for Doubleday Multimedia. He's appeared as an actor in numerous commercials - and in the Network TV Show "C.H.I.P.S." - and in the 1977 Academy Award Winning Dramatic Short Film "In The Region of Ice" directed by Peter Werner and produced through The American Film Institute. After moving to Arizona in 1979, Phil became an award-winning advertising executive and commercial producer/writer/director at KUSK-TV in Prescott. Phil was also President of the Verde Valley Chamber of Commerce. As Chamber Pres. he founded the Sedona-Verde Valley Film Commission in 1985. He was the first to develop a professional marketing & promotion campaign for Sedona's unique scenic locations, presenting the area to filmmakers worldwide, and attracting major studio films like, "Starman" "Midnight Run" and "Dudes" to name a few.
