About	Kim Roy Cannaday, passed away unexpectedly at his Port St. John home Saturday, March 18, 2017 at the age of 58. Kim was born March 24, 1958 in Bozemon, Montana, to the late Dee and Eileen (Bohn) Cannaday. Loving husband of 30 years to Deborah; Cherished step-father to Jenifer Kalis (Randy Wasserman) of Cape Canaveral FL, and Shaun Kalis (Nikki) of Centreville, MD; and beloved Papa to grandson Alex Kalis (Jenifer and Randy), and granddaughters Brynn and Lainey (Shaun and Nikki). Kim will be missed by his brothers Dee (Rick), Gary, and Max. Kim practiced carpentry and homebuilding before joining the Space Shuttle Program at Kennedy Space Center (KSC) in the 1980s. He was currently employed at KSC as a Technician with Jacobs Engineering Corp, helping the Exploration Ground Systems Program prepare KSC for the Space Launch System and its upcoming launch vehicles. Kim earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Warner University. He enjoyed traveling, motorcycling, and spending time with family and friends.
Events	A Celebration of Life Service will be held in Kim’s honor, Thursday, March 23, 2017 from 5:30 – 7pm at Brevard Memorial Funeral Home (5475 US 1, Cocoa, FL 32927). The family asks that in lieu of flowers donations be made to The American Heart Association, The American Police Hall of Fame and Museum [APHF], 6350 Horizon Drive, Titusville, FL 32780, or a charity of one’s choosing.
