Kim was born in Placerville, California, on January 7, 1958. She attended El Dorado High School in Placerville two years and then graduated from Lodi High School in 1975. Kim attended San Diego State University and later graduated with a degree in business from Stanislaus State University. Following that, she became a Certified Public Accountant in Lodi. She married Barry Faul of Lodi in 1988, and their son, Derek Allen, was born in 1990. Kim embraced her endeavors with great passion. She enjoyed traveling to many destinations, gardening, horseback riding, camping, and many craft hobbies. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her son and other family members, especially trips to Calistoga and the family cabin near Pinecrest. She is survived by her son, Derek Allen Faul of Lodi; loving partner, Bill Hannameyer of Wallace; mother, Barbara Veerkamp of Stockton; father, Al Veerkamp of Placerville; sisters, Susan Jenks and husband Brian of Albuquerque, Pam Lough- man and husband Chris of San Diego, and seven nieces and nephews, Alex, Natalie, Peter, Rebecca, Cameron, Tyler, and Miranda, as well as aunts, uncles, great aunts, and cousins. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her and shared in her life. In her youth, Kim attended the Episcopal Church of our Saviour, 2979 Coloma Street, Placerville, California 95667
