| About Me | Born in Lindsay California and stayed there until age 8. Parents ran a little corner Mom & Pop Grocery, Gas & Butcher shop - Hunt's Quality Market on 700 E. Honolulu & K Avenue. I grew up in the outskirts of Sacramento (Carmichael) attended Starr King elementary, El Camino HS, American River College & Sac State now CSUS. Liked all sports, but played mostly baseball and loved fishing & shooting bows & guns and thoroughly enjoyed wandering the great outdoors. I enlisted in the USAF in 1967, spent 2 and half years in technical schools (Electronic Warfare, Airborne Electronic Intercept) and then a tour of Southeast Asia- Vietnam (Plieku, Da Nang). Was an airborne maintenance technician (AMT) aboard an EC-47 (ELINT, COMINT, SIGINT). Married in 1973 (divorced 12 years later - no children) and began working for the Department of Defense. I worked a few different "jobs" at McClellan AFB, started in ground communications, F/B-111 avionics, precision measurement lab, and then some software work. Transferred to the Pacific Missile Test Center in 1979 (now called the Naval Air Warfare Center – Weapons Division, located in southern California on the coast between Malibu & Santa Barbara), working test & evaluation and eventually ending up back in electronic warfare (EA-6B, Intel Systems, Mission Planning and a lot of other fun stuff). Retired in 2003 and went to work for Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) as a program manager - supervisor/manager on government contracts. Met and married Tawnya while working at Point Mugu, Michael (step son) was 18 months old when we started dating and 3 when we married. Samantha was born in 1990 and Alexandra in 1994.
