About	Karen Hoekman went home to be with the Lord on August 8, 2024 with her family beside her. She was born in Houston, Texas on February 25, 1946 to Paul and Frances Baldwin. She graduated from Eisenhower High School in 1964. She married Gary Hoekman on June 5, 1965 and they had just celebrated their 59th anniversary. During Gary and Karen’s marriage, they farmed in the Buena area then moved to Hamilton, Montana and eventually returned to reside in the Selah area. She loved knitting, quilting and her grandchildren/great-grandchildren. She is survived by her husband Gary, daughter Jill (Jeff) Sauve, son Geffrey (Patty) Hoekman, sister Elaine Erland and brother Paul Baldwin. She also had five grandchildren: Jacqlyn (Derric) Scoggin, Jessica (Jordan) Sjodin, William Hoekman, Adrianna Hoekman and Heather (Brendon) Love and five great-grandchildren—Nora Kate, Camden, Marquis, Adon and Kolton. Graveside services will be held on Saturday September 7, at Terrace Heights Memorial Park at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Gary Sinise Found
