Classmate Memories

Steven Kitt '68 said:

Judith Carol Shideler Judi was born in Yakima August 17th, 1950, and lived the majority of life in Tacoma until 2013. A graduate of Eisenhower High School, class of 1968, her time spent here on earth was full of many adventures with her husband Jay and children Brandon, Krista, and Nicholas as well as her grandchildren Sabastian, Baylee, Isaiah, Brynn, Isabella, and Colton, and many nieces and nephews. Judi loved the equestrian life, as we all know. She spent much of it with horses being the "mane" means to keep her at peace. Riding, grooming, showing, and camping at Tahuya with her family in tow filled the years with many wonderful memories involving her horses and the past 14 years showing her grandchildren this way of life, with her husband Jay supporting her endeavors throughout their entire marriage. Judi is survived by her two sisters, Charlotte Zerr of Yakima and Christine Reade from Clarkston, WA, and preceded by her older brother Michael Collier. We all love and miss her so much, but are quite thankful to have been blessed with the chance to have had her be part of our lives, and mold us into who we are today. She will be resting right next to one of her favorite places from now on: Tacoma Unit #1, where so many days were spent with her passion of horses bringing a smile to her face.
