Bradley "Brad" Eugene Hernandez, 68, lost his battle with lung cancer on December 24, 2022, in Yakima, Washington. Brad was born in Yakima, Washington, on September 14, 1954, to Percy Hernandez and June (Werking) Hernandez. Brad grew up and attended schools in Yakima and graduated from Eisenhower High School in 1972. In 1975 Brad married Deborah Vaughan.

They lived in Yakima until 1994, when they moved to the Nile Valley and built a house. Brad got his dream location as a snowmobiler, dirt biker and jeeper, and Debbie got her dream house. They spent the next 28 years living and loving their life in the mountains.

Brad had many jobs as he climbed up the ladder in life. In 1980 Brad started Quality Body and Paint in Yakima. After several locations and 20 plus years, he moved the business home and started doing restorations. He was still banging on fenders until he couldn't anymore.

Brad is survived by his wife, Debbie, his mother, June Adamson, his sisters, Carol (Bob) Yancey, Stephanie (Dave) Toler, Susan Baer, and Shelly Peterson, his brothers, Alan (Susan) Hernandez, and Bruce Petrie, his mother-in-law, Darline Vaughan, sister-in-law, Cristi Syverson and several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father, Percy Hernandez, his father-in-law, Dick Vaughan, and brother-in-law, Mike Syverson, as well as two nieces and two nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held in the spring at the Hernandez home. Brookside Funeral Home is caring for the family. Memories and condolences may be shared at www.brooksidefuneral.com.
