About	Parents: Woodward ‘Bud’ Bohoskey Bernice (Fleming) Bohoskey Charles ‘Chuck’ Woodward Bohoskey, beloved husband, father and grandfather, passed away on Saturday, January 24th, 2015 at Cottage In The Meadow. Chuck was born in Portland, Oregon on June 5th, 1943, to Woodward ‘Bud’ and Bernice Fleming Bohoskey. Shortly after his birth, the family moved back to the Yakima Valley and joined Bud’s parents, Arthur and Constance Bohoskey, to run the Yakima Sheep Company. Chuck’s early years were highlighted with time spent at the ranch riding horses and branding sheep and cattle with his father and grandfather, fulfilling his childhood dream of being a cowboy. Some of his favorite early memories took place during summer visits to Twin Rocks on the Oregon coast where he would stay at his grandparents’ beach home. Chuck graduated from Eisenhower High School in 1961 where he lettered all 3 years in football and track. He also met the love of his life in high school and later married on April 2nd, 1962. Chuck attended Seattle University for a short time and then graduated from the University of Washington with a Bachelor’s degree in Business. Chuck began his career in the investment business by joining Walston & Co.’s Yakima office in 1967. He continued his work as a Financial Advisor throughout his entire adult life. He was responsible for opening the Dain Bosworth Yakima branch in 1994 which is now RBC Wealth Management. He leaves a legacy of enduring friendships with colleagues and clients. Chuck served this community with passion and commitment. He was a ‘can do’ kind of person and approached all his endeavors with grandeur. Some of his most memorable contributions to this community include chairman of the 1992-1993 YMCA Caring for Kids campaign, chairman of the 1996-1997 United Way Annual Campaign, and serving on the board of trustees for the Yakima Family YMCA. Chuck loved producing charitable fund raising events. It brought him great joy bringing Pete Fountain to Yakima’s Front Street for the United Way’s Pillars’ Party, inviting the Total Experience Gospel Choir for the United Way Foundation event “Rock the Spirit”, and organizing the YSO fundraising event at the Garretson Estate. Chuck was a lifelong member of St. Timothy’s Episcopal Church where he served in many different capacities. He was a man of deep faith. He loved to teach and even taught Junior High Sunday School. He expressed his faith through random acts of kindness and generosity throughout his lifetime. Some of Chuck’s fondest memories were time spent with family: boating trips to Lake Tahoe and Vantage to name a few... and later in life, some extended family vacations that included the grandchildren. He treasured his grandchildren and will be remembered for being a fantastic grandpa! He will be dearly missed and live in our hearts forever. His survivors include his wife of 52 years, daughters, sons, siblings, grandchildren, and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Memorials may be made to the Yakima YMCA Camp Dudley Scholarship Fund or charity of the donor’s choice c/o Keith and Keith Funeral Home, 902 W. Yakima Ave., Yakima, WA 98902. Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, February 9th, 2015, St. Timothy Episcopal Church. A private inurnment was held at Terrace Heights Memorial Park
