Trista L. Kennedy, 30, of Selah, Washington passed away unexpectedly on January 16, 2019. She was born on April 15, 1988. She graduated from Ike in 2006. Trista spent the majority of her career in the health care field at Memorial Hospital. She had a kind and loving heart and was loved in return by all who knew her.
Trista enjoyed her fur babies, Muffy and Tinker. She also enjoyed spending time with family and friends, camping and going to the beach. She is preceded in death by her grandmother, Tillie Mondor. She is survived by her grandfather, William Mondor; grandparents Roy and Lori Barret; parents, Paulie Kennedy and John Button; brothers: Nick (Sarah) Kennedy, Nate (Laura) Button, and Brandyn (Micaela) Button; aunts: Kathy Valenzuela, Kristie (Mark) Mann and Pam (Norm) Holmberg; cousins: Darcee (Kevin) McIntyre, Aimee (Jeff) Wallace, Heather (DeAndré) Sanders and Greg Valenzuela; many other grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends whom she loved dearly.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2019 at 2:00 pm at Valley Hills Funeral Home (2600 Business Lane, Yakima).
