Donald Holder, 85, of Yakima died Saturday in Yakima.
Mr. Holder was born in Bryson City, N.C., and served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a teacher and coach within the Yakima School District, retiring in 1974.
Survivors include his wife, Nellie Holder of Yakima; two daughters, Mary Marsh of Renton and Jane Carlton of Richland; a sister, Helen Fritz of Seattle; and two grandchildren.
A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Central Lutheran Church, 1604 W. Yakima Ave., Yakima. Keith & Keith Funeral Home, Yakima, is in charge of arrangements.
