About	Brian James Davison was born December 13, 1957 and died June 30, 2018 after a 2 ½ year battle with cancer. An avid baseball player since childhood, he graduated from Davis High School in 1976, where he pitched a no-hitter his senior year. He also played on the American Legion World Series 1975 championship Yakima Beetles team. He received a Bachelor of Education from Eastern Washington University in 1980, and a Master of Education from Central Washington University in 1990. He worked for the Yakima School District for 34 years where he taught at Franklin Middle School and Eisenhower High School. He retired this last school year at Eisenhower due to his illness. Throughout his life, Brian coached for the Beetles, Eisenhower, Franklin, and Lewis and Clark Junior High. He coached baseball, basketball, football, soccer, volleyball, and track. He also coached his children from the time they were five in baseball, basketball, and soccer – where he never had a losing team. He met Jill Marie Burns in 1982, and they were married in 1985 at Holy Family Church. His son, Joshua, was born in 1990 and daughter, Jenna, was born in 1993. He loved being outdoors, tending his garden, and working with his koi pond. He could talk your ear off about anything involving baseball. In his later years he got very into tinkering with his fantasy baseball and football teams with his children. The latter of which he won the most recent championship. He leaves behind, Jill, Joshua, and Jenna; and his dogs, Chewy, Annie, and grand-dog, Mr. Darcy. Preceded in death by parents, James and Maxine Davison. We wish to thank Dr.Ziel, North Star Lodge, and Memorial Hospice for all their loving care throughout his illness. He was a person to turn to for scholarly advice. A friend to his students, athletes, co-workers, and neighbors. Sometimes the most important step a person can take is the next one. In the end, we all must take it, but he will always be remembered with warm thoughts and was truly loved by all who knew him. At his request, there will be no services.
