I am Wanda (Marquardt - Eisenhower Class of 1968), Gerth Garfield. Peter and I were married for one short year prior to his death in Vietnam. Peter was a corpsman who attended a village where he was killed in a friendly fire accident. Peter was a gentle, kind and caring man. Peter is buried near his parents, Harold and Elizabeth Gerth at Terrance Heights Memorial Park.
