Alumni Stories
David Neil Dayton
Class of 1974
My story is my Christian testimony. Before graduation, I had already signed up to enter the USAF in August of 1974. I was a struggling Mormon with doubts about weather to leave the church. At my first base, McChord AFB, Tacoma, I met a true born-again, Bible-believing practicing Christian who showed me the "biblical errors" about Mormonism. I finally left the church, married my Spanish wife who I met at a Baptist church in Zaragoza, Spain while being stationed there in 1977. The Lord put on my heart to return to Zaragoza in 1994 after retiring, and now I teach English there. The Lord Jesus continues blessing every day and I thank you for taking time to read my short story.
