Golden Girls-New York Trip

The Edison High School Honey Bears and Golden Girls has been invited to participate in the 2009 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.

For the last five (5) + years the Golden Girls Dance Team has been Lone Star State Champions. These young women have worked hard to achieve the expertise, skill and physical fitness required to compete at the highest level and they are above average academically. These young women represent the student body at Edison High School. This invitation is the culmination of their efforts.

In order to provide this opportunity to participate in such a prestigious event to showcase our team, each young women must raise $2000 to pay for: airfare, hotel (six days), tour the Big Apple, a Broadway show, Radio City Music Hall, 7 day Metro Pass, dance class w/noted choreographers, parade costume/uniform (gloves, rain jacket, toe warmers), and performance team jacket w/parade patch.

I am asking for sponsors to achieve my goal for this chance of a lifetime. If you are able to help reach my goal as an Edison Alumni your generosity would be greatly appreciated.
