| About Me | While at the U of M, I traveled to Egypt on a SPAN scholarship. There I met my husband Martin Corrado who was from New York. After graduating, I moved to New York where I worked as a nurse. We were married in '69. Our daughter, Marisa, was born in '74 in Bloomington.We lived there for three years before moving to Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates where our second child, Martin, was born. We were there until 1984 when we moved to London where Justine was born. From there we moved to Edina for a year, then Corona Del Mar in California before moving to Malta for four years. In 1993, we returned to Abu Dhabi. I opened the AMIDEAST office in 1996. AMIDEAST is a non profit regional education and training organization that works in the Middleast and North Africa.
