Joined the Army Reserve in 1977, served on active duty in Indiana and Germany for 7 years (1981-1988), went back into the Army Reserve, and retired in 2002. Served as a Staff Sergeant, graduated from Officer Candidate School, and retired as a Captain.

Member of 451 Army Band and retired from service in 1999 at rank of Staff Sergeant. Performed on woodwinds, keyboard and bass and lead ensembles in the organization. Highlight was participation in the 50th Commerative at Normandy, France in 1994.

Full-Time Staff NCO for State of Minnesota. Facilitates training and manages readiness for Minnesota Army National Guard. Previously UH-60 Blackhawk Electrician, Mechanic, and Crew-Chief.

Joined in 1966. Served as flight operations coordinator, then chaplain's assistant in Germany and US. Attended Defense Language Institute for German in 1972 and Russian in 1984. Trained as interrogator/linguist. Stationed in Germany, Alaska and assorted US posts. Appointed warrant officer 1978 and retired from active duty in 1989 after 22 years.

John N. Bui

Navy, 8 Years
John Bui served eight years in the United States Navy as a Line Officer. He served four years on the SSGN 727 USS Michigan. He did several deployments in WestPAC as Assistant Weapons Officer and Weapons Officer. After USS Michigan, John Bui volunteered for a nine month deployment to Afghanistan, where he earned a DSM for his tour of duty. Later on, John Bui served as the Logistics Officer for Naval Operations in Norfolk, VA. John Bui resigned from the US Navy after eight years of service. John Bui has done great credit upon himself, the United States Navy, and the United States Armed Services.

LT Yenchi Patrick Lo served with distinction with the 194 Cavalry Regiment. He was deployed to Kuwait Iraq where he spearheaded the demobilization of US IRAQI forward operating basis. His diligence and commitment to duty did a great credit upon himself, The Minnesota National Guard, and are in keeping with the highest traditions of the United States Armed Services.
