Favorite School Memory	I loved that fact that everyone in our high school, students and parents alike, supported the sports teams.
About Me	I went to the University of Minnesota, Morris for undergraduate. I married Scott Gruys my last year of undergrad. We lived in Minneapolis while I earned my Ph.D. We moved west for my first position as a professor - at Washington State University (at a branch campus in Vancouver, WA, in the Portland Oregon area). We were there for 7 years...during which time we had Hannah and John, who will be 6 and 4 this September. In Summer 2006, we moved to Dayton, Ohio, where I was offered a position as a professor at Wright State University. I got tenure this year - so that is a big hurdle to clear.
