| About Me | I think people use the word FRIEND too loosely. Here’s what I think 1. There are hundreds of folks you see every day and that’s it, you just see them. 2. Then there are acquaintances, these are the folks you talk to now and then at a public place, you have never been to their house, you may not even know their phone #, or any of the names of their family. 3. Next would be my buddies these are the folks who you hang around with more than others, pretty soon you will find out where they work, family names, how many pets they have, what kind of pets they have, how many cars they own, where they live, get their phone #, you will end up at the house for whatever reason, you will be able to call on them whenever you need something, you will even start meeting for breakfast or lunch, when it gets to this point your heading towards a friendship which takes me to # 4. Friends come and go, it may because they moved, or maybe you had an argument, whatever the case may be, friends are the ones that you talk to a lot, go to their home and have dinner, your kids will play together, the kids will do overnights at each other’s house, the family photos might even come out, you will even find out their true colors. Then comes #5. Best Friends any one person is lucky to have at least one of these, BESTFRIENDS go way beyond your friends, they are 100% devoted to you, they stay with you know matter what happens , oh yeah you will have your share of fights, you will fuss and holler at each other, you will say things to each other that will twist your stomach right into a big knot, you may even feel like your insides just came out your toes, but when that I’m sorry comes out a BEST FRIEND will FORGIVE and FORGET. This is the person you can tell anything to and nobody will find out, you can do things in front of them that you would only do when you’re by yourself, these are the people that when you’re together you feel like one. Like I said most people are lucky if they get just one BESTFRIEND in their life time. I was blessed with two however my Mom died July 2007, now I have to tread lightly because I’m down to one, my lover, my angel, my wife Sheri Lea-------my BESTFRIEND-----Can’t imagine living without one BESTFRIEND....................................(read more) |
