MLK DAY OF SERVICE AT BUNCHE

Hi fellow Alumni,
I graduated in 1960 from Ecorse High and I am currently serving as an AmeriCorps volunteer at the Grandport Academy on 6th street. We are seeking Ecorse Alumni to return and help make the MLK Commuity Day of service a success in Ecorse. This is a National Day of Service, and will receive media coverage. Come on back, and show support for the kids who need us as positive role models.

Volunteer Projects Include: Mural Painting Planting herb pots for garden Building bird houses for garden Organizing classrooms Organizing Head Start classrooms Caring for school grounds Decorating the school Crafting cards for military personnel Making no-sew blankets for the homeless
