About Me	I moved to Austin and lived there 20+ years (many misspent), drove a school bus for 11 years, returned to college, was a reporter in Austin for awhile, traveled quite a bit, got my MFA and started teaching at the college level. While I was earning my bilingual MFA in El Paso, I began traveling to Mexico regularly, to the Mexico City and Oaxaca areas. I also spend a lot of time in New Orleans. I have numerous publications, creative and academic, and published a novel in 2009.
