About Me	Kerry was my dad--he passed away in 2002 when I was 17. If you knew him and can share any memories about my dad with me, I would be so grateful. I miss him more deeply all the time...and if you remember anything about him, truly, please share. Kerry moved to Ohio, because when he visited for a job interview, he saw autumn leaves for the first time. After growing up in the desert, he thought he should experience four seasons...but he did not love the Cleveland, Ohio winters. He got a job with a local home builder and met my mom when she went in looking for a house. They married in 1982. He worked as a building contractor and ran his company Sierra Builders until about 2000, when he took a job with another construction company. My dad was very involved in my and my siblings' lives. He coached us in softball and soccer, and ran for the school board in our district. When he unexpectedly passed away on March 11, 2002, he was the president of the school board and would have presented me with my diploma. I remember his sense of humor, riding roller coasters with him, playing catch in the yard, and that I could talk with him about anything.
