Paticipated in multiple Strategic Deterrent Patrols out of Guam on a Fleet Ballistic Missile submarine, and one Special operation on a Fast Attack submarine that will forever be remembered in the annals of the Cold War as one of the riskiest missions ever conducted. Great time overall!

Served on USS Mahan DLG11, San Diego, USS Finch DER 328, home port Guam. Finch went to Yokosuka, Japan, Market Time Patrol Vietnam, Subic Bay, PI, station ship Hong Kong, Taiwan Patrol. Joined US Army Reserve 3/80 and served until 6/01. MOS 91V, 11B, 88M. Served with 44th Field Evac, 4166th USAR School, 12th Special Forces, 95thTraining Division. Was an instructor for 13 years with the 4166th, senior instructor in NCOES instructing class in ANCOC, PNCOC, PLDC and PLC.
